CCS Installation Steps

Download file here or go to the TI CCS Download Page

STEP 1: Agree to their Terms, click NEXT

STEP 2: You may change the Installation directory if desired, if not, click NEXT

STEP 3: Select Custom, unless you want the 1.5GB+ installation. Then click NEXT

STEP 4: The only option that needs to be check is the MSP430 Low Power MCUs

STEP 5: Make sure that the options on the figure are selected, then click NEXT

STEP 6: Make sure all is selected, then click NEXT

STEP 7: Just a review, click NEXT

Depending on how fast your PC is, installation might take 10 to 30 minutes...
After installation is sucessfull, open Code Composer Studio v5

STEP 8: This is how it looks when launching program

STEP 9: You may change the Workspace default directory to a different place

STEP 10: License Setup, choose the CODE SIZE LIMITED (MSP430) option, click FINISH
